InputSprocket provides support for using joysticks, keyboards, mice, and other input devices when playing games on your Macintosh computer.
System Software Requirements
To use InputSprocket, you must have MacOS 8.1 or later installed on your computer. Macintoshes with USB require MacOS 8.6 or later.
Installation Instructions
Launch the GameSprockets Installer. Click Install.
Supported Devices
The InputSprocket drivers add support for the following input devices (USB devices require a Macintosh with USB ports, ADB devices require a Machintosh with ADB ports):
All keyboards
All compatible USB mice (HID compliant)
All compatible ADB mice ("type 4" compliant)
All compatible USB gaming devices (HID compliant)
Apple Computer: English Speech Recognition (requires the Speech Recognition Extension,
version 1.5.4 or later at <http://speech.apple.com>)
Some games have "utility" functions that are only accessible using the keyboard. You can change these functions in the input dialog that appears when using these games. Change the function by pressing the Option key and clicking the popup for the input device you're using in the input dialog.
